Trek

Trek meets Thursdays, 5:30pm-6:30pm and is for middle school students in grades 7 & 8.

The Trek program challenges students to wrestle with the three most important questions they’re asking in middle school:

Who am I?

Why am I here?

Who’s with me?

By allowing students to dive deep into the Scriptures and answer these questions for themselves we allow them to own their faith and discover what they actually believe.

The Trek Bible Study handbook has biblically rich content with practical application for students’ lives. Each weekly section includes a lesson, memory verse, and seven days of devotions and questions to complete at home that will help students grow a deeper understanding of the Bible and have deeper group discussions during Trek on Sunday mornings.

Completing the Trek Study Bible handbook is required if a student is working toward traditional Awana Awards such as the Timothy Award, Meritorious Award, and/or Citation Award. There are schools that provide scholarships for students who have reached various levels of achievement within the Awana curriculum.
